How is agentic go-to-market different from sales automation?
Sales automation executes rules a person configured: if a contact does this, send that. Agentic go-to-market works from the current state of an account, decides what should happen next, and produces the work needed to do it. The output is a prepared action for review rather than a triggered message, and it changes when the account changes.
Three practical differences
- Input: a sequence reads a contact record. An agent reads the account, the buying group and the history.
- Output: a sequence sends a step. An agent produces a draft, a brief or a business case a seller can edit.
- Maintenance: sequences decay and need an owner. Agents work from context that updates itself.
What does not change
Delivery still happens through the tools you already use, and a person still approves anything a customer will see. Agentic go-to-market is not a reason to remove review, it is what makes review worth the seller's time because the draft is already good.
Where Agentive fits
Agentive is not a chatbot and not a set of sequences to maintain. Twelve agents run the account work on the Buying Group Graph and hand each consequential move to the seller.
